Niche Zero is built for zero retention while the retention could be higher or lower depending on the climate and humidity. Our bellows is a strong enhancement to your NZ providing both aesthetic and functional pleasures. It sits securely and tightly on the grinder and won't slip even being vigorously pressed.

New version comes with a 3D printed gadget that bypasses the lid switch and control the grinder by only the on /off switch. The gadget does not impact daily uses of the grinder. Simply remove the original plastic lid and use the original screw to fix the gadget.

The upper lid now is removable and you may feed beans directly from the open. It has dramatically shortened the workflow as there is no need to repetitively open / close the lid to blow out the retention after grinding.

Additional benefits:
1. We can now have the grinder running before we feed the beans, for longevity sake of the grinder motor and burrs
2. We can press and blow out the grounds with the grinder running, improving blowing effects.


The wood pieces (one above and one underneath the bellows) are handcrafted from qualit Walnut / White Oak, carefully sanded, and finished with quality food grade wax oil. The bellows are made with food-grade silicone to ensure longevity and durability.
